      Ken,
      I’ve always wondered why Graham appears much larger and at a higher resolution on the back of the king’s quest V box. It’s not the original box but the newer one and compares the 16 color pictures of the game to the 256 color ones in which Graham is a Giant. I was just wondering if this is from the Mac version or if there is any way to play as “Giant Graham”.

      (re: What is up with the pics on the back of the kq5 box?) OK – I asked Roberta. She says it must have been something the artists did who did the box. There is no “giant Graham” anywhere in the game.

      I always wondered about that too – the pic of Graham in the forest. Somehow I was convinced it must have been in some version of the game, and it was just unlucky that it was not in the PC 256 version. LOL. Oh well.

      (re: What is up with the pics on the back of the kq5 box?) Hot off the scanner, emily. This is from the back of the Light Blue King’s Quest box – the original “flying family” box, does not feature a Graham of this magnitude in a screenshot on the back of it. Enjoy.

      how funny! the light blue box is the same one i had, but i had it for the mac so i’m not sure if it showed the same screenshots. (i don’t know if the mac had a 16 color option).

      looks to me like they doctored it since they were trying to show off the 256 colors… maybe a normal sized king graham wouldn’t have been able to show off the same detail and shadows? not to mention, the 16 color screenshots just happen to be ones where king graham is tiny…

      All I want to say is that I can’t believe how quickly you responded to my post. I hate when you post and then you have to wait weeks for a response and then you forget about it. Then you check back months later and its too late to get any kind of conversation going. Thanks.

      P.S. That’s pretty shady of the artist, I had a hunch that there was no version of the game with “Giant Graham” but I’m sure “SOME” consumers bought the game based on those pictures. Not that it’s not a great game, it’s just a little deceptive.

      Hehe, got that with the SQ2 box too. At the rear the graphics look to be in higher resolution and blimey! Roger’s hair is blond!
