Happy New Years everyone!!!
For today only, I’ve switched the site layout to have a glass of apple cider. I worry that some of you will think that the glass on the left looks somewhat like champagne. I wouldn’t want to offend any of you, so I was very careful as I filled the glass to ensure that nothing inappropriate went into it.
Enjoy! We’ll be back to our (boring) black layout tomorrow.
As to the future:
I have a major new upgrade to this software I’ve been working on. It should have done by now, but we have both Roberta’s and my parents in town, so I’ve been BUSY. My guess is that I should have the new software installed within a week or two. Also, I have a creative agency putting together fifty different layouts, that I can switch between anytime I want (to match my mood or what I’m wearing that day). Hopefully, they will come up with something I like better than the basic black layout soon. I loved the Christmas layout, and was sorry to see it go, but, time marches on.
Once again, thank you for all your support, and may 2004 be a calmer year than 2003.

PS The software upgrade is focusing on speed and usability. I made a decision six months ago to stop adding features, and focus on making the software easier to use – especially on the website creation side. I’m looking forward to the day, which should come any day now, when I can shift my attention back to thinking of cool new things to do. I have some wild ideas for what can be done, but needed a solid base to build on. Cool new features mean nothing if no one can understand how to use them…. -

Hi Ken !
This layout is great!! it is far more inviting and not that “squared” like our current “regular” layout.
If you could leave at least the menu-titles as they look now (and also the stripes above, although you could change their color) – I think that will be preferable.Oh well, maybe you can do a poll on this subject?

I’ll work on getting a version of this layout that doesn’t have the negative connotations – and hopefully get it online within the next week.
For now, we’re back to black…
