ParticipantDoes anyone remember playing The Realm when it was owned by Sierra? That was quite fun, I remember spending months on the 2nd Version before it shut down. I didn’t follow the series after it exchanged hands, but just dropping a line to see if anyone would remember and share their experiances.

The game is still going, Codemasters had it for a while, now it’s Norseman Games and it’s at version 3.156! I still enjoy dungeon questing, but get little time to find other oldtimers. There is new content, and progress (el bet SSSLLOOOWWW! progess) in changing things to keep interest. I know chat boards don’t like it when you post links. So you’ll have to google to find it, or e-mail me.

I’m still on it! Say hello to me sometime. I found it years ago on AOL and then it was packed in Sierra games. Went through all the various versions first as HeavenlyOne and MaMaggie. I stopped for a year, but I’m back say hello to me “MaMaggie” maybe we can do the Maze together!

old post I know, but man…
I remember reading about The Realm in Interact and thinking it was the best idea ever. Back then there was Meridian 59 and maybe UO, but the only past experience I had was with bbs muds. I remember sitting there downloading all the pieces of it on my modem (took forever). My friend and I would sit there playing it all night long, a trend we continued with almost every other mmog since. Still, The Realm was my first graphical one and it’s held a place in my heart ever since (like most Sierra games).
