      Hi to all, im stuck in Quest for glory 4: Shadows of darkness, im a magic user and as all walkthroughs say i must get the heart ritual by visiting the faery folk, i keep going to erana’s garden and i cant find them i have done everything the walkthrough said to do, i’ve met the faeries in that same place long ago in the game before all the rituals stuff, but they didnt gave me any ritual, it sounds to me like a bug, but i installed a lot of patches to the game (i think all the existent patches) Is there someone who has the same problem? or anybody who knows how to solve it? thanks

      (re: The faery folk in Quest for glory 4: Shadows of darkness) Perhaps you are doing something wrong… You can only meet the Faery Folk at night, in the area directly south of Erana’s Peace.

      thanks anyway, maybe if i start a game from the begining everything is going to be right (but im so lazy…) something like that happened to me when i was playing police quest 3, i was looking for a car crash site or something like that in a highway, i restarted a game from zero and there was, this kind of “bugs” in sierra games were so annoying…-_-

      (re: The faery folk in Quest for glory 4: Shadows of darkness) Actually Martijn, I don’t think Katrina needs to have ordered you to get the rituals before you can obtain them, specifically the heart ritual.
      When I last played as a Wizard:
      1. Find the faeries. There should be a drinking fountain in the middle of nowhere outside Erana’s garden, I believe. Click it, it disappears.
      2. Exit the screen and come back.
      3. If that’s not all of it, then you should be able to work out what comes next.
      You do need Erana’s staff.
      Keep posting, I’m interested. Must play QFG4 again.

      Hmm, weird problem.

      (re: The faery folk in Quest for glory 4: Shadows of darkness) Here’s an idea; Are your skills reasonably high? I believe the Faeries will only ask you about the Staff when they see you are good enough to work for them.
