I found out that most of the actors in GK2: Beast Within, such as Dean Erickson, have little to no other significant roles in movies or shows. Dean has been in Frasier in 3 episodes….but that’s about it. That’s too bad, because I thought some of them could do well in movies…yet they must not have been given any chances..
What do you think? -
(re: The Beast Within Actors) The actors in The Beast Within havent got very important roles in movies or tv shows, i know about Peter Lucas (Von Glower) appearing in Indepence day, Walker, and some shows more. And recently i have seen Mr.Smith (dont know his real name) acting in 3rd rock from the sun

(re: The Beast Within Actors) Ron House, who played Policeman Fink, was one of the co-writers and main actors in the wonderful British comedy BULLSHOT – a parody of the BULLDOG DRUMMOND series. Apparently, House was in a theater group together with Alan Shearman and Diz White, and the three of them became famous for their stage version of BULLSHOT. George Harrison produced the film version.

von glower had a tiny part in an episode of John Doe last season, and i’m sure i saw herr huber as a patient on ER but he wasn’t credited so i’m not sure it was him.
it is too bad none of them have had any significant roles. dean erikson says on his website that he expected his wrok on GK2 to help him get into movies, but casting directors don’t take work on a computer game seriously…

(Huber on ER, Smith on Seinfeld) Huber (Kay E. Kuter) has a pretty impressive filmography… he did made an appearance at ER once, but participated in over 30 movies, and add countless appearances in various episodes of many shows (ER, Seinfeld, Fraiser, X-Files, Star Trek TNG, much more..)
Smith (Bruce Ed Morrow) didn’t do too well… he was on Rosewell (1994) but as an alien clown… -

Too bad Dean Erickson or Peter Lucas don’t star in their own big movies. I think that Dean himself said that he puts “Beast Within” on his credits, but it does him more harm than good. If only hollywood knew how much sierra fans like Gabriel Knight 2…..they should at least be shown some of the videos… -

Did anyone else see Von Glower on ER last night? He didn’t have a very big part and sadly was killed. I saw the his name in the beginning credits and was hoping it was the same Peter Lucas and it was. Also saw Mrs.Smith (Judith Drake) in a jiffy lube commercial a few days ago. I wonder if she did a tarot card reading for them!

Joanne Takahashi has 2 lines in the movie “The Late Shift” in the very beginning as a waitress. When I first saw it I only was watching it to see her part, but its actually a pretty good movie, about Jay Leno and David Letterman trying to get the hosting job for the Tonight Show. Unfortunately, she was also in a episode of a soft-porn tv show on Showtime. Luckily theres a scene with her fully clothed you can watch. I keep seeing Mrs. Smith in a ton of commercials as well, a insurance one being the only one I remember. Peter Lucas was also in the TV-Movie of Into Thin Air based on the book about people who died on Mount Everest as a pretty boy-type guide.

Well, I know Joanne Takahashi (who plays Grace) had a VERY (cough, cough) interesting role in an ep of the Showtime series Women Stories of Passion. Being that I remember having a crush on her when GK2 first came out, I kind of enjoyed that ep…
but I won’t go into too many detials, lest I get kicked off the board… 🙂
