ParticipantDear Mr. Williams,
I was thrilled to find your website tonight when I was doing a search to see what I could find about the old TSN. I feel compelled to thank you for the life that I am living and let you know how much you have changed not only my life, but those of my two children.
In Oct. of 1992 I was living in Ohio with my two young children and an abusive husband. I received a free trial disk for TSN in a magazine and decided to pop it into my computer and see what it was about. What I found was a place I could go to in order to escape my real world, once the kids went to bed at night. My nickname was TasHa. Over the next couple of months I met many new friends and realized that I was changing inside. In January of 1993 my husband (at that time) pulled a knife on me during the middle of an argument. Thankfully he didn’t use the knife and I realized that I did not want to be in that kind of relationship any longer. I found the strength to ask for a divorce.
Over the next several months I spent a lot of time on TSN and met many new friends. In the summer of 1993 I met a man who lived in California and went by the TSN name of Cameraman. We met in person for the first time in March of 1994 and in May, ’94 he moved to Ohio. We got married in 1995 and in 1998 moved to California. Since moving to California I have gone back to school and graduated from college with the highest of honors. I also just completed my Teaching Credential program and am now a credentialed teacher.
My children are now almost grown. My son is 18 and will be graduating from High School in June. My daughter is 14 and will be graduating from Middle School. In part, because of you, neither of my children had to grow up in an abusive environment and are doing well. Had that little floppy disc not been in that magazine, who knows where my life would have led. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
