ParticipantI have been a fan since I was a little kid. I grew up with a singl mother and there wasn’t a lot of things that we did together but man, the best times we ever had was sitting down together in front of our IBM PCjr and play your games.
I even managed to have a copy of Mystery House…Yes I did!
King’s Quest I, II, and III, Space Quest, and Leisure Suit Larry (the originals) were the best games ever made. They weren’t just games but they were stories that stuck with me for my life. Sir Graham was my Harry Potter and I thank you Roberta for writing it and Ken for putting together the team that used to program them. I know every single one by name.
Yes, today the graphics on games are much better, there is motion blur, and lighting effects, and massive amounts of shading, pixel pipes and all that stuff but NOTHING ever compared to seeing the beautiful graphics of KQ when it first came out.
I don’t know if it matters to you guys but your games brought me any my Mom who don’t have much in common that much closer. It is a childhood memory that will always be there for me and would no be without you both so I am glad I have this site to thank you.
I know this is not a Question but I wanted to put it in the most active forum. Thank you again and enjoy your success, you deserve it. You brought happiness to millions. Oh and by the way, WOW, Roberta that picture of you on the boat looks fantastic. You look younger than you did 20 years ago.

I forwarded your message to Roberta. She had this to say:
Quote:
“… (by Roberta Williams)WHAT picture on the boat?!
Berta
…”She then sent me this email a few minutes later…
Quote:
“… (by Roberta Williams)And…let Adam know that I appreciate his kind words….especially about looking younger!!!
…”
I’ll show her the picture. And, thank you!
