space quest 6,missing manual?

Is there supposed to be a manual included with Space Quest 6 to configure that devive with all those computer chips,irq’s.You have to correctly configure these to get off the hotel roof,as i remember.I couldnt do it,the possible combinations was too high,I, sadly,had to download the diagram to get the combinations right,and i think i read that it came with the game,the game was store bought legally,in the shrink wrap,in a collection series,along with Lighthouse,and Police Quest Open Season.No manual came with Space Quest.Does anyone know anything about this?.thank you!
