ParticipantHere is the Sierra Video Catalog 1989-90 encoded in MPEG-4 format. It’s approximately 14 minutes long, and 34MB in size. It should be compatible with Apple Quicktime, and Windows Media Player 9. The encoding can be tweaked further for file size and quality, but I think for now this strikes a happy medium, and get’s the video in the hands of people that have been requesting it.
Enjoy!

P.S. If the link at the bottom of this message does not work properly, try right-clicking (option-click for mac users) the following link, and “save as” it to your hard drive.

I couldn’t get it working with Media Player 9. I got a message that the file was corrupt or media player didn’t support the file type.

You should probably use Quicktime then. Boy, watching that brought back memories and also thoughts of how great those games could be today. The sound effects and speech used in the catalogue just showed the possibilities. I’m going to bust out my old Sierra games now and reminisce some more. If anyone could post the one with KQ4, PQ2, etc. from 1988 that would be great, that’s the video catalogue I remember having before my brother destroyed the tape. Oh well.
