ParticipantHey all,
Does anyone remember an OLD cheat back in the TSN/INN days called Vitamin C? I believe its sole purpose was to teleport you to parts of the map you were not meant to be in. Does anyone have that?
…
Granted, I could probably figure out how the character x/y coords are stored, but I really don’t want to go through that problem just to go to silly places of the map 😉

Nevermind, on two accounts:
I’ve learned that Vitamin C only worked online and, I’ve found the X/Y memory values 🙂
(I’ve also learned – yet again – that engines can break whem the user does something they’re not supposed to!)

Sorry, only “cheat” I ever remembered from that game was the one that allowed low level characters to sneak into high level areas with a stronger party. Kind of useless now, isn’t it?
I recently got my hands on a copy of SoY and FoT and I have to say that I miss the online functions. A LOT! And it isn’t just because I miss the chatter, or that a party would be helpful in exploring the whole of the dungeon and maybe keeping me alive for a little while longer….it’s the fact that I cannot, for the life of me, find any information on the various items in the game: What they do, what special properties they might have, basic equipment stats.
I do remember coming across a website while searching for the game, where someone was trying to resurrect the online play. But that was probably little more than a pipedream, due to lack of interest, funding, and copyright laws.

Participantthat wasn’t the only thing it did, it also let you auto-heal and create items by hitting ctrl+f9

Participantoh yeah, it also does work offline and I’m using it right now. I keep falling into traps in the kin’s domicile, so that means I need bunches of kings passes
