(re: re: Swapping/Buying/Finding) I had all the original boxed sets of sierra games…..but they simply took up way too much room. I tossed the boxes but kept some of the original disks and manuals. I burned most of the games onto a compilation game CD. Luckily I did, since some of those disks may not have lasted. I already lost games to bad floppies before….thank god for the internet and old game lovers. 😉

I’ve found the following at Half-Price Books:

Quest for Glory, Trial by Fire (including box/map/manual, etc.)
      Gabriel Knight 2
      Kings Quest 5
      Quest for Glory 5
      Red Baron 2
      Police Quest Collection

All of these were less than $5 each.

I was tempted to pick up a couple of games yesterday. I almost bought Bass Fishing and a game called Mad Grab just because they were Sierra games… it was like $2 for the fishing game, but I don’t remember it being much fun for me. The other game which looked like a board game conversion was probably $5 but again it didn’t look all that fun.

I did pick up Magic Carpet(EA) for $1 and was surprised to find that it still had the original 3d glasses and it had Magic Carpet 2 stuck inside as well.
