ParticipantHi,
My name is Jason Gryniuk. I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I have been playing Sierra games since I was 8 years old. I love the King’s Quest series. I think you and Roberta did a fabulous job in creating the KQ series. What I don’t understand is why you all are not the CEOs anymore? I called Sierra On-Line one day, last year and inquired about any new adventure games, because it had been a while since I had played a Sierra game. They got so upset with me because I inquired about you and Roberta. I just think that’s wrong. You all formed that company and they have the gall to talk about you all like that! That is so pathetic! My opinion is that Sierra has really gone down hill. They’re putting out more “shoot-em-up” type games and no more adventure games.
You see, I am visually impaired and I just don’t have that quick hand-eye coordination to play those types of games. Besides, they seem pointless to me. I really liked the good ol’ Sierra games. I used to have practically the entire collection, but throughout the years, I’ve sold some of them.
I have now gotten into various web sites inspired by the classic Sierra games like, Quest Studios, Tierra, and a new company that is working on the 9th and final King’s Quest game. Have you looked into the remakes of these games that they’re putting out? They’re absolutely fabulous! It’s just like playing a Sierra game!
Well, I just wanted to say thank you! These games have meant a lot to me over the years. They were kind of my escape from the “real world.” But I guess all good things have to come to an end, huh. One last thing, I was wondering if you happen to have an MT-32 recording of the entire soundtrack to King’s Quest IV? I absolutely loved that music and would very much like to have a copy of it to listen to.
May God bless and Happy Holidays!

Thanks again,Jason Gryniuk J
Jason:
Thanks for the kind works. Sierra was sold in 1996 and Roberta and I retired. The new owners are different people than us, and are doing things differently. I think the results speak for themselves.
I do not have an old MT-32 recording of KQ4. There are some links to various sites that do have music on my website (

) – check them out. Maybe it’s there somewhere.-Ken W
