Apologies if this came up before – couldn’t find any reference in the search engine. Anyway, did anyone else notice that the cover painting and the animation on the QFG III opening screen is very similar to Frank Frazetta’s painting “Against the Gods” (or maybe whoever did the graphics admitted an influence)? See it here:

Interestingly, this would make the SECOND time that this painting has inspired an animated sequence; back in the late 70s, veteran animator Richard Williams used the same painting as a reference for a Jovan Cologne commercial. You can see it here:
