ParticipantI know at one time, there was an attempt to collect all of the old Sierra games at this site.
This is a wee bit pricey, but perhaps it’s an idea if any of you are “of means.”

ParticipantWow, that has got to be an amazing collection of software. Too bad I didn’t know of this sooner, I could have added some individual titles to my collection 🙂 Let’s hope an enterprising individual is out there who has money and will be able to deal with the collection properly in terms of preserving some pieces and selling the others.

ParticipantWow, that is truly unbelievable. Any guess how much a similar complete Sierra-only collection would be worth? Imagine having a complete collection of boxes, materials, etc. and then a few pre-pentium computers with versions of all the software installed for playing… I think it’d be awesome, but wonder what guests to the house would think… probably think I’m insane!

ParticipantWell as the site says the cost of the collection is considerably cheap to what it might actually sell for piece by piece. A Sierra collection would still be huge but it would be comparatively smaller and more manageable, so any collector selling such a collection would likely seek closer to selling value for each item.
I have a stack of old computers in my room waiting for me to take them apart and put them into working order for running Sierra games 🙂 My parents see the stack and do think I’m insane 🙂
