I remember buying the Police Quest Collection a long time ago when it was new. I really loved the games, and me and one of my friends had been playing PQ2 many years before, but we were too young to get anywhere 🙂
Anyway, I really looked forward to playing the games over again. The problem was that in the European version of the collection, a lot of stuff was missing in the manual. The town map, the locker code needed in PQ3 and some other stuff necessary to play the game. I emailed Sierra about it, and they replied telling me to read the manual over again, and gave me the page numbers that the copy protection was supposed to be on. Of course, it wasn’t there, so I emailed them again. This time, they looked through the European version themselves and had to admit that something was missing, so they xeroxed it for me and sent it in the mail.
Have anyone else here experinced this, and perhaps you know something about it Ken ?

(re: Police Quest collection – European (incl. question for Ken)) Hey Øystein,
I do have the Police Quest Collection myself, bought in my home-country, of Denmark. So I guess I would have the european version too, but I dont have any problems with it. All codes, maps etc. Are in my copy 🙂
Btw. if you wanna play PQ3 you might wanna download some of the patches for it. Including:
Speed patch (so you can drive without it going way to fast on a new computer)
Pentagram patch (fixes some kind of bug, so its easier to make the pentagram)
You can download them here:

(re: Police Quest collection – European (incl. question for Ken)) Hey, there’s a pentagram patch?! Maybe that’s why I could never get past the pentagram!
