      I recently bought a new computer because my old one “died”. The only sad thing about the new purchase is that for one Phantasmagoria doesnt play at all, and the older Sierra games dont seem to recognize my Soundcard, so I play the games in silence. I spoke to Sierra Tech Support (or Vivendi Universal) and they couldnt help me at all. They said I should buy an old computer and play they games on it.
      So does anybody have any ideas?

      I have Windows XP, and phantasmagoria runs fine. What I did was set it to run in Win98 compatibality mode, and also 256 colours. It works fine (windows installation).
      As for older games, use VDMSound. It works quite well.

      VDMSound won’t work in ME. I tried. On the plus side, I did find my posters for KQ7, PQ remake and Sid and Al today.

      Hi,

      I know there is a chance to play it in DOS Mode with VDM Sound etc. but is there really no chance (wih a patch !?!) to play it under windows ????
