…especially in light of the new “Prince of Persia” film. Jordan Mechner, designer of the PoP games, have uploaded his development/personal diaries (originally written on paper…) from the time he worked on the first game in the series to his website. It’s a facinating look into the creative process, and I highly recommend reading it, even though it might take a long time to do so. One entry that particularly amused me was describing a meeting Mechner had with Ken and Roberta, and Ken’s reaction to the game:

Since I brought it up, I guess I do have a question: Ken, did you have any other contact with Mechner before/after this episode? And did the quality of PoP inspire the uplift in the look of Sierra games (the PC version of PoP came around the time that Sierra switched to VGA graphics…).
