Major upgrade happening over the next two days

Over the next two days I’ll be making a major upgrade to the site. I have all the new code working just fine on my local computer, but that doesn’t always mean that it will work the same way when I upload it to the main server.
Historically speaking, the next two days are likely to be problematic. I’m sure there will be a few bugs, and the server may even be offline from time to time. I apologize for this in advance.
You may have already noticed that the email alerts aren’t going out. I have these temporarily stopped while I overhaul the email system.
