I’ve been making free adventure/rpg games for a while. My last game did really well, so I’ve decided hey, why not try to sell one of my creations as shareware? I’ve told my forum kids and newsletter junkies about this they are happy, but now everyone wants me to put them and their ideas in the game. In some ways, I would love to do this. For example, I have four kids who want to be mice that run for ‘world president’ in the game. They even want me to use their forum names. However, I’m really worried about the legalities of this. Can a game maker be sued for using ideas that fans specifically asked them to implement?
