There was a topic about this a very long time ago at http://www.sierragamers.com/bbs/BBSTopicPage.asp/t/3876/p/1 that gave some very good instructions about how to get KQ6 functional on XP by using VDMSound. It is working for me, and the voices work perfectly, and the game TECHNICALLY is, well, normal, BUT….my cursors are weird. As in, it will start the game in, say, the “walk” cursor, and right-clicking doesn’t change how the cursor LOOKS, but it does change the function. When I move the mouse out of the game window and back, the right cursor is displayed, but I don’t want to have to move my mouse around a bunch every time I need to change cursors. Anyone know what’s going on, or have any suggestions?
