kq6 dos 3.5 hd disks. install no prob

  They install fine on xp great sound yet no audio… is there a trick to get audio? the install says soundblaster supported but loading the game it says it unable to setup audio device or something. computer is pavilion a400n. any help is appreciated.

  You need to install the GoSierra patch to get past that problem. You can download it from this page: http://www.queststudios.com/quest/Utilities.html 
  
  Once you get the sound working, you might find that it sounds better if you use VDM Sound: http://sourceforge.net/projects/vdmsound/

  thanks for the help both of you. I can now hear the voices in the opening but once in the game no voices… thought you could hear the voices throughout the game?

  The CD version has voices throughout the game. The disk version does not.
