Hi everyone…I know this is going to sound really really dumb I am a kings quest virgin and am having major problems figuring out the controls : ( I can’t get the knight to do anything…like pick up a bowl…open a door or gate…I just keep wondering around like a lost soul. What button am I missing? It’s first game in the Kings Quest collection. I know I am a loser becuase I am sure I’m missing something thats really obvious but if anyone can enlighten me I would sreatly appreciate it.

Hi Gerrianna,
The first King’s Quest game requires the keyboard to be used to direct Graham’s actions, using simple verb-noun combinations. For example, he can get the bowl by typing “get bowl.” It sounds to me like you might be using the mouse to move him around. You can also use the arrow keys on the keyboard.
