kings quest 7,headless horseman problem.

Hello to everyone.Ihave a problem with Kings Quest 7,from the Kings quest collection.The problem is,is in the cemetary,where you have to click the skull on the headless horseman,and he is supposed to stop and thank you,or whatever,this doesnt happen for me,i have tryed clicking the skull on horseman,and he just keeps flying by.When i first see the horseman flying over the horizon and clik theskull on the headless horseman,the skull turns white,like its supposed to,to show that an action will occur,nothing happens,i have tryed about 30 times,no luck.I remember playing this game before on the same pc,and had no problems.Any help would be greatly appreciated!Thank you

To make him stop you have to have Valanice stand directly in the middle of the dirt path. It looks like he’s going to run her over, but he won’t, he stops just in time and she’ll give him the skull. It took me several tries to get this too.

No problem…I had that happen too. Between that and the dynamite problem I think I had the most trouble. Enjoy the rest of the game!

Usually if you stand right next to the dirt path…close enough to it but not on it you don’t get run over but you catch him to give him the skull. I got it on the first try after not playing it for a long time. The firecracker was always annoying though….it just kept blowing me up. It’s a good thing you start right where you left off when you die in this one instead of having to start over. 🙂
