I was at the used game store seaching for a different used adventure game I will not mention. (It’s not a Sierra title.) And I couldn’t believe my luck. Hidden amongst the piles of seemingly useless software and giant floppies was a 2-disc King’s Quest collection in CD case with manual (Although the cover of the manual was torn off halfway through Alexander, with a hint of Rosella.) I bought it for a steal and then immediately took it home and loaded it on my computer. Despite a few problems with operating the games in XP (KQ6 in particular, has a nasty habit of locking up anywhere between 5 and 10 minutes of gameplay.) I’m having a ball re-playing all of these great old titles. I can’t wait to finally play through quests 3 and 4.
