ParticipantLook, Im sure Sierra will never make a new shivers series so now im looking for people who know how to actually wanting to make a new series anyone who has good visual art can join or we can do other things like take pictures of unique locations A team should be organized to make there own version of what shivers 3 should be. Anyone with plenty of expierence and has an online portfolio of some sort to show that they are capable of going with this plan are a must! Im looking for people who are expierenced so I don’t want emails from people who have no idea what to do I also am looking for someone to create a good story line to go with the “hunt for the remaining ixupi”(read in another form) is suitable but there are scenes of course that don’t make sense I don’t think we’ll continue on from shivers 2 because it did suck compared to number one. Another thing thats needed is people who can create good music for this game if that is possible it will be needed! So if there are people out there who want to help out getting this organized email me asap atTymich55@hotmail.com anyone who like to post comments continue it on this forum id be glad to here from you if you have good ideas!

I always thought it would be cool if Prof. Windlenot’s son, briefly mentioned in the first game, were to follow in his father’s footsteps, and uncover archaeological treasures that never should’ve been uncovered, perhaps, instead of spirits, items relating to the ancient gods and their powers…. I’d have the open-map concept of the first game, but the larger number of characters to meet, as in the second game.

I love how in the first one, you could go back and trace what happened to the Professor and 2 kids who broke in through the notes, broken stuff and where their corpses were. At one point, I even wrote notes about their schedule the night they died. I hope you have something like that in the 3rd one. And please don’t have the villian turn out to be a dork with bedhead.

I like the idea of prof windleknots'(spelling?) son following in dads footsteps, and it sounds like a truly ambitious project.. I still can hear the music from the first one and get chills, which is a good thing.
Being a musician, the atmospheric music from the first game are the best I’ve ever heard, even the elevator music 😀
I’ll email you soon, as I’m very interested in helping with the music for this.
Also, Shivers 2 didn’t *suck* so much, it was just different 😛 -

Excellent, Excellent!
The game has been started and coming along nicely,
Music would be great thats what I was looking for today actually, so help on that would be excellent, the types im looking for are much like Classical like when you walked up the clock tower to, the music in the hall on your way to the power generator room, And what is definatly needed, is a remix of the warning of the Ixupi.
For all you People who wonder what this storyline is about, here is a small part, It stars Geoffrey Windlenot, After He’s been informed of his fathers Strange Death. So he basically takes over the museum now, this is were it gets more interesting another book has been discovered detailing more information about the ixupi. So the game is basically on recapturing the 3 Ixupi That got away, Except as we know the pots are now useless. So they have been reactivated by A shaman. There is much more detail to whats going to happen on this game but im not going to spoil it for everyone. But i’ll tell you this much, The game starts off in the museum, BUT…..only a small part of the game takes place there.
Now this is where I go on about more staff, We have people helping out but if there is any fans out there willing to still help out on working on this game then send me an email attymich55@hotmail.com
I believed the program we decided to use is macromedia flash,
Anyone with experience in Photoshop is highly recommended if they’re willing to help out..
People who have good experience in music or sound, we will Definatly love to hear from you because we need this game to be creepy.
And most of all Anyone with ideas, The full story line isn’t offical so Please send me your suggestions also.Tyler M

ParticipantInteresting to see Shivers is still “alive”. Well… despite the fact that the last post was nearly a year ago and that the link to the site of Shivers 3 leads me directly to http://www.cjb.net.
So what’s going on with Shivers 3? My little toe is telling me the entire idea went bust somewhere.

ParticipantThe website works for me, but unfortunately this was the last update:
“A long waited but unfortunate update. Me and the small amount of staff ive had has been working on the game and do have some rooms done but due to lack of staff the game is being momentarily halted until more staff sign up….were sorry to bring the news to the long waited fans for this game but shivers 3 will be out in the near future”
I’m hoping work is still being done, because this game looks to be awesome!
By the way, if the shivers3.cjb.net link doesn’t work for you, try http://www.geocities.com/shivers32004/. That’s where it should bring you.

ParticipantThe images look great! I really hope this project gets completed, these guys seem incredibly talented. Although I was pretty sad when the “screensaver” link turned out to be broken.
(gets all excited again about the thought of playing a new Shivers game)

ParticipantUmm… What happened to the forum? There haven’t been any updates for long time. Tyler said that he and the staff have built some new rooms. Can we see some images? What’s the staff status right now? We are really looking forward for this game! Shivers 3! hahaha!!!
