  Decided to update my 2003/2004 version of Hoyle classic card games with the latest and greatest from Sam’s Club. What a disappointment! It is clear to me that Sierra is no longer involved. The new software is slow, the games play like they are running on a clunky old machine. Love my 2003/2004 version. Too bad. Sierra made playing cards online just like playing with real parrots and bears…:-).

  As an 8 or 9-year-old, I played a TON of Crazy 8’s in the original Hoyle game. My three favorite opponents were Larry (for his ridiculous facial expressions), King Graham, and Roger Wilco. Sonny Bonds was one of my favorite characters, but he’s a bit too serious for a card game, yeah?
