      I just found Willy Beamish and was so excited to be able to play it again after so long. BUT when I try to install it I get an error message that says “drive not ready.” Then it gives possible reasons saying that disk drive was left open. Our drive isnt open but it continues to read this message. I have windows xp if that helps. Please someone help because there is no way to get a technical support number for sierre or dynamix.

      You can try my Willy Beamish DOSBox installer on the Sierra Help Pages. If you have any issues with it, you can ask for further help on the Sierra Help Pages forums.

      I found the dosbox site and downloaded it. BUT when i went to go back and install willy beamish, the install was deleted from my willy disk 1. I think I deleted it by accident when I was attempting to “unistall” the game, but I didnt realize that it was never installed in the first place. Is there anywhere I can get the install back on the disk without buying a new game, this one was hard enough to get hold to.

      You could try a data recovery program. I’m not sure what free versions are available. Just try Googling. If you still can’t recover it, check out the Sierra Help Pages Forums.

      What file was deleted by the way? Your install.exe file?
