I just wanted wish you a wonderful Birthday and give you and your husband my deepest thanks for creating some of the best games ever made. I played my first Sierra 20+ years ago on my C 64/128 and I believe it was called Wizard and the Princess. There was another game about going into space on the flip side. Mission Asteriod might have been the name. Both games were great but very challenging so I never beat either one of them (without help). About 10 or so years ago I dug out my old computer and tried to beat them again. To my dismay I still got stuck. To give everybody an idea of how great the company was, I wrote a letter about 10 years ago to and mailed it in asking for help with the games. And wouldnt you know it, a few days later I recieved letter from Sierra with printed walk throughs for both games. How’s that for product support Smiley.

Well thanks again for the memories and I hope your Birthday is Wonderful Mrs. Williams.

Dear Ken and Roberta,  (First of all a million thanks…(see other category.))

I was wondering why Sierra never published the KQ or SQ games on the Commodore 64?  It should easily have been able to handle the equivalent of EGA graphics and had great sound capabilities (though I’m sure you knew this.)

      Thanks,

      Steve

You may already know this, but just in case, Sierra’s early adventure games ran under a scripting language interpreter called AGI.  My guess is that the C64 either didn’t have enough memory, or enough processing power to support the interpreter.
