Just thought I would share a story of appreciation regarding Sierra On-Line.
Growing up I loved playing adventure games (I’m still sad that the genre has been lost recently), and thus loved Sierra games. I attribute my current profession (doing psychological science research) to the the long hours spent developing my critical thinking skills with King Graham and Roger Wilco.
My parents were always very protective of what I was exposed to as a child (I was never allowed to play with toy guns for example). I would save up my allowance to buy computer games for our Amiga 500. My mom would have to approve every game before I purchased it; but all I had to say was that “it’s a Sierra game” and immediately it got her seal of approval.
Thanks Ken and Roberta for giving me countly hours of good wholesome fun.
