ParticipantI have been searching and searching the internet for the two streets that cross near St. George’s Bookstore. Does anyone know which ones? I’d like to have a picture taken with the sign post when I visit New Orleans next month.

ParticipantI don’t think Jensen had any actual streets in her mind

ParticipantActually I looked it up, and his address was 313 Bourbon Street. A couple of weeks ago I was in New Orleans, and it turns out there either isn’t a 313 or it didn’t have the number listed. At least I got pictures of the general area where St. George’s Bookshop would be if it existed.

ParticipantThat’s very nice!! I am happy you managed to go there even without our… assistance 😉
What do you mean there is no 313? Do you mean that the numeration stops on an earlier number?Personally, I’d be very interested to have a look at the pics

ParticipantVery nice, Christina.. and I agree with Gildor, please, show some pictures!
I remember the day when a book company called ‘St. George’s Rare Books’ came to my town. Now THAT was cool; pure coincidence, mind. This is cooler, though..
Also drove by a place this year called ‘La Costa Lotta’.

ParticipantThere was construction going on in the area and not all the buildings had numbers, so I didnt know which one was the exact building, but I was in the general area.
Construction. This could be 313, I have no idea
This building is probably either 313, or right next to it
Marie Laveaus Tomb
One good thing about Mardi Gras, I was the only one there to see the historical sights, hence the empty square.
