EcoQuest 1 vs 2

I don’t know about you guys, but EcoQuest 1 was probably my most favourite game of Sierra’s. Just everything was great about it…

Anyways I finally got my hands on EcoQuest 2. Which I thought would have been as good as EcoQuest 1. And I was really dissapointed. It just seemed less.. well just not as interesting. I was hoping to use that magic conch shell to call on aid during EcoQuest 2. Anyways although EcoQuest 2 was an ok game, it was nothing compared to EcoQuest 1.

Does anyone else think so?

EcoQuest 1 was a good game, and it became even better with the cd version, the voice actors were great.

But still EcoQuest 2 is far more superior than the first part in my opinion.

I’m just sad that there was no cd version of EcoQuest 2 ever made…

I loved EcoQuest 1. I named my fish Delphineus, and it was the first game, when I was ten, to ever make me cry.

EQ2 just didn’t have the same pizaz. It was almost there, I really liked Pikita (sp?) but the ending dropped off too suddenly, the worst flaw in the game. Mysteries are never explaned, the game never truley ends. At least in EQ1 the ending was final and sweet.

I thought the friendship was better built between Del and Adam than Pikita and Adam as well.
