ParticipantI am sooo not a gamer, but I do have a copy of the Lost Mind of Dr. Brain. However, I cannot get it to install on my Windows XP. Any suggestions?

ParticipantIt was designed to work under Windows 3.11.
I failed to make it run even under DosBox or VDMSound.
The only way I managed to run it was under VirtualPC with Windows 3.11 installed. -

ParticipantI am running Dr. Brain 3 on Windows 98 and it keeps crashing when I finish a section and try to return back to the brain game selection screen. I even have it were I have to shut the computer power off because it freezes the computer or loops through the end task dialoge over and over. Any help please? By the way, the game is still great fun though. 🙂

ParticipantI was always dissapointed by the last 2 Dr. Brain games (discounting the later later ones altogether).
That said, I assume it’s another audio buffer error! Since the timer patches, this seems to be the only error left unsolved.
I don’t know which file DB3 uses, but a file called ‘resource.win’ or ‘sierra.ini’ or something created by installation should exist. Could someone post their contents of it (right-click, open with Notepad) and paste here?
