A lot of the posts here have to do with the path that Sierra is currently taking. I’ve looked at a couple of the newer Sierra games, I haven’t been tremendously impressed. The problem as I see it is that many of them lack story. I think part of the reason Sierra has moved more towards the FPS, and action genres is that they are on a quest for replayability. Once a story, like KQ is completed, there is not much of a reason to play the game again. QFG tackled this problem early on but offering 3 character classes. The 3 character classes meant that you could replay the game and get a totally different experience the 2nd or 3rd time. KQ6 tried this too, with the short/long path options.
