I recently bought a bunch of Sierra games on eBay and I came across one oddity. The box for my copy of the Legend of Robin Hood appears to be in German. The titles text and logos are all in English, as is the “version” sticker, but the captions and description on the back are all in German. Another odd thing is that the “Win a Trip to Sherwood” sticker is in English. (Is it too late for me to enter that contest?). The game itself appears to be in English, but I haven’t got very far into the game yet. Every other game I got from the same seller was the normal U.S. release.
Do I actually have a German version? Was the game in English, even in Germany?
