I downloaded Civil War Generals 2 from a website, unzipped it all, and even downloaded the no cd patch. However, no matter where i download the patch, it always asks me for the disk, which i dont have. When i hit yes to say i have the disk inserted, it comes up terrfx.txt file not found and goes off. Does anyone know how to fix this? Please email me if you can help. Really appreciate it.

You will need a program called Power ISO to run it. but get rid of the old downloads and download the game from this website. i opened and used it with PowerISO and i have only had a few crashes. It runs better when you’re not connected to any internet connectivity. You may also have to run it as Admin for the game to play. But this download from this website works the best and the only one i know of to date that works. I spent years trying to find a working download.
