ParticipantBrandon, did you know that the chat room will execute active html code. I was able to type in bold and italics, but also add an input button.

ParticipantYeah, I think I recall that. I never thought of trying to do anything other than bold or color or what-have-you. Could anyone do something that would seriously mess up the site? This is one for Ken to look at.

ParticipantI don’t know? Javascript and html are not as bad as Java. Java is a powerful language similar to c. I’m a novice programmer so I don’t know the extent someone could code into the chat room.

ParticipantThe chat will be completely replaced in a month or two.
The recode of the BBS system is nearing completion. Recoding Photo Galleries comes next — and, then the chat.
I wish software didn’t take so long to write!

PS For those who haven’t noticed, my little website maker has become TOOOOO popular. I’m nearing 4,000 websites and adding about 25 a day! This started as a hobby, and will hopefully stay that way.

ParticipantI can’t wait to see what it looks like!
I’ve been working at 1280×720 resolution a bit recently, and it’s nice to have a widescreen for interface design.

ParticipantAnybody use the chat?
Maybe a suggestion would be a monthly get together?

ParticipantHello Ken,
I’m interested in helping you maintain this website and upgrading it with the features many of your fans have been requesting. I have deep engineering and website dev experience.
No charge of course.
What’s the best way to get in touch with you?
Best,
Guy

ParticipantYou just found me!
Yes.. This site needs lots of work, and I don’t have time to work on it. I give it a try from time to time, but I’m on a boat in the middle of nowhere, with only a random internet connection. Catch me offline — at kenw @ seanet.com.
Thank you,

ParticipantA monthly or even weekly gathering sounds like a good plan!
Maybe, ‘we’ can invite developers or game designers or other people working in the industry. Doesn’t matter if they’re professionals or peeps working on fan games…

ParticipantHello Ken,
I tried you offline, but no response. Hope it wasn’t a spam filter issue. Had some interesting thoughts to share. I assume your having a great time sailing far far away from an Internet connection. If there is a better way to reach you, let me know. Perhaps we can coordinate a time for a brief chat. Might be more effective then the email back and forth.Best,
