Hello!
I am new to this site and this is my first post. Please be patient with my questions 🙂
I just purchased (from Amazon) the King’s Quest Collection for PC CD-ROM. It has 2 cd’s with seven games. It is supposed to run on Windows XP. I have XP Pro.
All installed okay, however, I cannot read any of the text! I has vertical stripes running through it and the words are illegible. Also when I type a question, it is unreadable. I tried changing the resolution to 400×600, but it looks the same.
I launched the first 4 games to see if it improves. When I get to Game 4 (Perils of Rosella). I get a screen looking for a password. I cannot read what it is asking for, so I am stumped.
Can anyone help me get up and running? Many many thanks!
