      I think it’s been mentioned on this board before that Himalaya Studios (Tierra Entertainment under a new name) is working on a commerical game, Al Emmo and the Lost Dutchman’s Mine. I just did a preview of the game for Adventure Gamers: http://www.adventuregamers.com/article/id,503 

      I got to play through the beginning of the game and am really excited by what I saw. It’s very reminiscent of the VGA games of the 90s. I think old school Sierra fans will be very happy with it.

      The game is supposed to be released this year (“mid 2005” is what I was told).

      Yeah, I lucked out. 🙂 I replayed KQ2+ afterwards to compare and they have really made some improvements (and I thought that game was good!) The background art in Al Emmo is especially good, much more detailed than in KQ2.
