I made a picture of the scene outside Lefty’s bar from the Sierra Magazine’s(Interaction)ad for the VGA remake of LSL1. It was 1991 (making me about 14 at the time) and it was one of my first pieces of computer artwork using a real VGA system (all my previous artwork was done in EGA). The original resolution was 320×200 using 256 hand picked colors. The program used was PC Paintbrush IV+ from Zsoft. The entire picture was hand drawn with a mouse only, pixel by pixel. Took me almost 20 hours to complete. I don’t think I ever thought I would still have this picture for this long, much less have the opportunity to show it to none other than Ken Williams himself. Anyway, Here it is.
