After using a forum made by PHPBB, I find this forum to be more difficult to use. I was wondering if you could use a new language to create a new forum. All of the forums created by PHPBB are more organized and more aesthetically pleasing. I’m not sure if you need to know PHP though. If I remember correctly, a friend told me that he didn’t actually know PHP and that he made a forum from a program.

My only problem with this forum is the way it’s organized.

I like this incarnation much more than the former one. The biggest improvement is the fact that you can see all the posts in a thread together. However, I’ve seen people complain about the look of this site. I think it looks fine, but in order to please all the people who don’t like it, why don’t you offer the option to choose different site designs/templates? You might have addressed this somewhere else. If so, my apologies.

(re: re: A new language maybe? (I accidently posted this in the Q&A section first)) The software behind this site is actually serving about 25 different sites, with more being added constantly – so nothing is easy, as lots of different people/websites can be affected.
I’m working on the feature now that allows each webmaster to choose their own look from a palatte of options. I’m working with a design firm to come up with the looks, and should have them in place within 2-3 months.
I agree that this look is a little too “sterile”. Not my style … but, MUCH better than what we had before…

They would be able decide how the site looks, so they can’t complain about how it looks. It’s kind of like choosing different skins for your media player. I like the way the site looks personally.
