ParticipantDear Ken and Roberta,
Call me crazy, many have in the past. But I have an idea and an ambition. I have a great desire, as I’m sure many have had in the past, to work with the King’s Quest and Quest For Glory series. But rather than update them to be 3D, or continue the series (as exciting and wonderful as that is), I’ve had the insane notion to merge the two series together into one “new” world. However, I have a slight problem, which would be copyright issues concerning Vivendi. I don’t suppose you’d happen to have any idea on how much the sales copyrights of those games is running for?
Also, if this crazy dream of mine ever started to come to be reality, I’d desperately want to keep the original flavor of the games…and I was wondering if you’d be willing to help in any small way, in terms of puzzles and story lines, and such? Thank you for taking the time to read and consider this. *bows with flourish*

ParticipantI don’t want to discourage you, but to be honest, I seriously doubt you’d get anywhere trying to get Vivendi to sell you the copyrights. Not only would they not sell them, if they did, I’m sure the price would be astronomical. You should use your creative energy to create your own fantasy world / game idea in the spirit of the King’s Quest and Quest for Glory games.

ParticipantHeh, and thus my backup plan comes into play.
We’ll see, I’d like to try this route first, and if it proves to be truly fruitless, well then, there you have it. But one never knows unless they try. Right? *shrugs and smiles sheepishly*
