We would love to see another King’s Quest, and hopefully with Microsoft’s (pending) acquisition of Activision it can happen.
All rights are currently held by Activision who isn’t doing anything with them, as far as I know. Microsoft may have a different philosophy.
My strong suspicion is that after paying billions for Activision, Microsoft is not going to license any rights to anyone anytime soon. They’ll want time to study all that Activision owns and build a strategy. So .. realistically, I don’t think there is any chance you’d be able to do King’s Quest.
