Dear Mr. Williams,

I didn’t know you before the release of this book nor I ever heard what truly happened to Sierra and for that I am really sorry. Both me an my brother are great Simulation funs. There is a book self behind my work desk which is crowded of vintage titles, a lot of them. The names of the publishers that you will encounter are mostly MS, Origin, MPS and of course Sierra.

You mention more than once in your book the idiom “hardball” player. By definition this means aggressive and ruthless. In your situation of usage of the idiom is the tag “unfair” also implied?

Could anyone survive in the market without being one? Some of the greatest pioneers of the micro computing industry who ended up on merges or total annihilation of their companies e.g.(CP/M, SUN).

As you mentioned back then things were on the fast track. Has the gaming industry matured? With almost 250 new titles submitted on Steam every day and not much space or enough resources on pioneering new technology from your garage do I have any chance to even get into the industry if I don’t play “hardball”?

Great job on the book. Thank you for everything you gave us during the Golden Years of gamming and Roger Wilco!.
I know I write too much 🙂
