However, I am not a newcomer to Sierra’s brilliant games.
My first introduction was to King’s Quest VI, after a friend of my fathers let him borrow it to try on our first computer (a Gateway 2000 with Windows 95). Needless to say, my entire family became hooked on solving the game (including having the puzzles in the back of my mind while at school, asking friends, and drawing maps of the Catacombs!). I have such fond memories of that game, and it inspired me to pursue a career of developing video games.
The game’s gorgeous graphics, entertaining storyline, and memorable characters is why King’s Quest VI still remains my favorite video game of all time.
