A very irritating speed problem. I think you need to use one of those programs that will slow your computer. I’ve been using MoSlo for some older games, like Traffic Department 2192(?) I alwys forget the year. Unless you purchase the upgraded version though, you can only use it on .exe or .com files. So if you have to run a .bat (like I did in Quest for Glory) I might recommend you look for something called CPUKiller and try that for a “quick fix”. (Literally, you only get like 20 minutes, so better hurry!)
