I never liked this game much, even as a kid. It contains some VERY annoying timing based puzzles where you have to do something at exactly the right time or you have to wait for something to happen before you can do something else in order to progress. I hated these sort of puzzles. KQ4 had them too, which is why I never finished that game. (Of course KQ4 was also dissappointing in some other ways, but that’s another topic.)
