Interesting information about Japan. Which countries outside North America have embraces Sierra games the most back in the late 80s and early 90s?
As for logos, I was referring to the mountain logo that embraced the early Quest games. I am not quite partial to the more recent “S” logo. Such a shame that you had to plunk a bit of cash to keep marketing fools happy. Crack that whip, I say!
Finally, Broderbund appears to be still around — http://www.broderbund.com — but they appears to be owned by Riverdeep. It’s interesting that the Sierra website claims a copyright from 1979 to 2005. Yeouch.
