(re: I have to say Sierra sucks now) As much as you may hate to hear it, true adventures are rarely made nowdays. Most adventure games made today incorporate some degree of action, FPS or such to make them sell better.
Even sequals of good adventure games can’t escape that fate – examples for that are MOE and probably also The Longest Journey 2 and Jane Jensen’s upcoming game.
