I tried the suggestions for running KQ5 in Windows XP. After some fiddling, I got it to run, with sound. Eureka! Then I had to stop, so I saved the game and quit. When I came back to the computer, I couldn’t figure out what I had done to make the game run. I tried following the same steps as before, but couldn’t get it to run. If I just double click the KQ5.bat file that I made, the game starts, but with no sound. When I right click on the KQ5.bat file that I had made and choose “♫ Run with VDMS”, the VDMS started, but then I get an error message saying that my display driver is not supported by this game. When I click “OK” I go back to the window with the command prompt and the heading “Inactive VDMS Launchpad” at the top of the screen. It looks like the Word doc that I have attached. Any help would be appreciated.
