go to programs
go to accessories
go to command prompt
install the CD via D:\INSTALL.EXE (or whatever your CD drive letter is)
INSTALL the game like a good ol’ DOS Sierra game
For sound, you may have to choose adlib with no speech. maybe, it differs from PC to PC
if that doesn’t work, Virtual PC, create a DOS partition or something, and download any patches suggested
If all else fails, emulate! Get a DOS emulator (don’t ask) and emulate DOS 5 w/ VGA and a SoundBlaster setting or emulate the NES version of the game, or Amiga, or Macintosh or something. Though, once we leave the beautiful CD version, we run into inferior, but still gun, versions.
